Our Story

Our journey began in 1980, when Mr. Vinod Kumar Jain, along with Late Shri Babu Lal Ji Jain — father of the two current partners — entered the salt trade in Phalodi, learning the fundamentals of the business under the guidance of their maternal uncle. With dedication and practical experience, they established their first firm under the name Vinod Kumar Jain, laying the foundation for what would later grow into a multi-generation salt enterprise.

After nearly a decade of operations, the business faced a challenging phase in 1990, resulting in a major transition. The operations were shifted from Phalodi to Kuchaman City, where the business restarted with renewed strength under the name VK Salt Supply. In the same year, an important milestone was achieved with the purchase of a salt processing plant — marking the beginning of our journey from trading toward refining and production.

As operations expanded, the firm name was changed in 1995 to Shri Jain Namak Udyog, aligning with the identity of the plant and strengthening its presence in the regional salt industry.

A major turning point came in 2000, when Mr. Vikas Kumar Jain and Mr. Vinay Kumar Jain joined the business. With their involvement and the acquisition of another plant, the business entered a new growth phase and the main firm Vardhman Salt Supply was established.

In 2001, the sudden demise of Late Shri Babu Lal Ji Jain was a major emotional and operational setback for the family and the business. However, with strong determination and shared responsibility, the next generation continued to carry forward his vision and commitment to the salt industry.

In 2002, operations further expanded beyond Rajasthan as Vikas Ji and Vinay Ji moved to Indore, extending business activities under Shri Jain Namak Udyog and strengthening the company’s reach into new regional markets.

Continuing the growth journey, Shree Jain Chem Food was established in 2010 by the three brothers as the current operating firm. With a clear vision for expansion and quality-focused supply, operations were extended to Nawa, near Kuchaman, strengthening production capabilities and supply networks.

From there onward, the business continued to grow steadily across multiple states, supplying salt to a wide range of dealers, industries, and institutional buyers. Strong relationships, consistent quality, and dependable delivery became the foundation of long-term partnerships with customers.

Another major milestone was achieved in 2022 with the purchase of a salt refinery, marking the company’s evolution into a fully capable refining and industrial salt supply operation. This step strengthened quality control, customization capability, and production efficiency — enabling the company to serve industries with greater precision and reliability.

Today, Shree Jain Chem Food stands on more than four decades of experience in the salt industry, combining traditional expertise with modern refining capability. What started as a small trading initiative has grown into a trusted industrial salt supply network serving customers across regions — with the same commitment to quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction that began the journey in 1980.
